Analyst is a powerful finite element electromagnetic analysis package for
your most demanding design problems. This complete analysis system for electromagnetic
design features Python-based scripting and advanced parallel solvers that
efficiently utilize networked and cluster computing resources. Analyst runs
on Windows 2000/XP/Vista Professional platforms, and the Analyst solvers will
run on Windows or LINUX systems.
Version 10 contains new functionality and numerous improvements compared
with the previous release:
- All new design optimization support including new algorithms (differential evolution, multidirectional search, Powell, etc.).
- Improved attribute support in ObjectCAD to aid in material and other attribute management, assignment, and parameter sweeps.
- 3D magnetostatics analysis using MS3P with support for permanent magnets and electromagnets.
- Improved scripted object management including saving, installation, etc.
- Dynamic datasets offer additional datasets without incurring storage overhead.
- Virtual machine support improves utilization of parallel computing resources.
- Circuit element support including circuit ports, resistors, inductors, and capacitors.
- 2D/3D charged particle beam optics analysis using MICHELLE
- Particle tracking for multipacting analysis using PT3P.
