All installations of Analyst require an authorization code (site key) to "unlock" the software, and in most cases you will need a new site key when you install software upgrades (you will normally NOT need a new key when you install patches). When you first run a newly installed product from STAAR, you will see the License Manager dialog that will display the site code for your machine. E-mail the displayed site code to Technical Support. In response you will receive a site key via e-mail that you can copy into the appropriate field to authorize the product (click on "Validate" after you paste the site key). You will receive a site key the same day if your request is received during regular business hours.
